Summer Breeze

It has been awhile since I have posted on here! I post on myspace so that must be why. This summer has been going great. I am taking two math classes that are kicking my butt though and a sociology class as well. I hope I pass. I am taking one day at time right now. I also recently took the MTTC state test and that was exhausting but interesting. I won’t know if I pass that until sometime in August.

I managed to squeeze in a trip to Mackinaw Island with Geoff and my parents last week that was fun because we got to bike around the whole eight miles of glorious peaceful island relaxtion and adventure. That was so nice. I had not ridden a bike in years.

I joined a fitness club around the corner and I am also taking a Pilates class in A2 w/Ang that is very good for the abs. I have started doing some cardio every few days when I feel like motivating and it feels so good. I am not running yet just walking and I did three miles today. It is a start I guess. I wish I could do it every day but I have not worked up to that level of discipline yet. Plus it always helps when you have a workout buddy. Geoff is thinking about getting his own membership at a nicer club which I think is awesome as well. Working out is a luxury (because of time) and it is a gift you should give yourself everyday if you can.

Molly’s bachelorette party is this weekend at Joey’s Comedy Club and I can’t wait. I am very excited because I really like comedy clubs. Geoff and I used to go all the time and they send us free coupons in in my email but we have not had the chance as of late to go. Hopefully they offer some vegetarian option entree because I have already paid in advance for the dinner and ticket.

It is so humid out today. I went outside and checked my plants and three of them had almost died so I went and got the scissors and chopped off all the dead parts and put extra miracle gro in the watering can. That stuff must be working because two of the smaller plants had busted out of their pots at the roots! Now the pots are ruined. I am amused. It looked like that movie Little Shop of Horrors. No blood here though.
